BPC-157

Body Protection Compound

Scalp healing and blood flow restoration

Overview

BPC-157 is a 15-amino-acid peptide derived from human gastric juice. For hair, its key mechanism is angiogenesis — the formation of new blood vessels. Poorly vascularized scalp is a primary driver of follicle miniaturization, and BPC-157 directly counters this by stimulating VEGF expression and endothelial cell migration.

Mechanism of Action

Activates FAK-paxillin pathway to drive angiogenesis. Upregulates VEGFR2 and stimulates endothelial tube formation, restoring nutrient delivery to starved follicles. Also modulates nitric oxide synthesis for vasodilation.

Pathway

FAK-paxillin + VEGFR2 angiogenesis
